Creative Places Baltinglass invites applications under the 2023 Seed Funding Scheme. Led by Wicklow County Council’s Arts Office, this scheme has been put in place to support the delivery of the Creative Places Baltinglass and its aims.
Supported by the Arts Council, the Creative Places scheme provides an opportunity for places which had not benefitted from sustained arts investment in the past to build local arts programmes which will benefit the people who live in these places. The work is intended to build on existing cultural strengths, led by community participation and ideas and supported by artists.
Who can apply? This fund is open to artists and local community arts, heritage, biodiversity and cultural groups based in Baltinglass.
What will be funded? Creative Places Baltinglass seeks high quality applications featuring innovative ways to increase engagement between people, arts, culture, heritage, climate action, biodiversity and creativity.
Awarded projects can include artistic interventions, socially engaged arts projects, performances, exhibitions, podcasts, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and creative engagements for children and young people. Awarded projects must take place in and benefit the residents of Baltinglass
How much funding? Grants between €500 and €1,000 will be allocated per project.
Closing Date for Applications: 4pm on Friday 2nd June 2023
